Andrea Furlan, born in Geneva in 1992, is a Swiss designer.
Passionate about watchmaking, he began his career with numerous internships in the greatest watchmaking Houses such as Chopard, Hublot, Sarcar, HD3 Complication or Dominique Renaud SA, a famous watchmaker whom he accompanied for years in order to give life to a unique and exceptional watch. His first sign of his passion for watchmaking came after an internship at Chopard, where he took part in the creation of a pendant for Roger Federer, an international tennis star. His second sign was his meeting with Jean-Claude Biver (President of the LVMH watchmaking division, Chairman Hublot, Chairman Zénith), who has inspired him since 2008, during an internship at Hublot.
During his studies at the ECAL (Ecole cantonale d'art de Lausanne), he was able to take part in various product and industrial design projects, meet and work for international designers and brands (Nestlé, Freitag, LaCie, MUDAC, Mark Braun, Pauline Deltour) and the National University of Singapore (NUS).
In 2019, after travelling between China (Shenzhen / Hong Kong) and Los Angeles to acquire skills and meet various suppliers and watchmaking groups, he opens his design studio between Geneva and Hong Kong, to accompany clients in the process of creation, brand identity and DNA, production, synthetic imaging creation and consulting as well.
The Studio provides a wide range of advice in design, 3D rendering, rapid prototyping, technical drawings or 3D constructions and sourcing thanks to its partners in Switzerland, Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Dubai and Los Angeles.
